Scott Marcus, born in Kansas City, MO, graduated from Evergreen (CO) High School in 1975. He enlisted in USAF where he trained as a meteorologist. Married and later divorced, his son, Anthony, resides in Bakersfield, CA.
During the early morning hours of March25, 1994, Scott was working the graveyard shift at the 7-11 near the intersection of South Holly and East Evans when an unknown person entered the store and shot Scott to death.

His brother, Dan, motivated by this senseless murder, helps at-risk kids through volunteer work with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Colorado.

During the early morning hours of March 25, 1994, Scott was working the graveyard shift inside a 7-11 Convenience store near S. Holly & East Evans. He was found shot to death during the course of a robbery.
