Murdered: 1995-02-24

On February 24, 1995, officers were called to the Shamrock Gas Station on a report of an injured person. Officers observed the victim lying in front of his vehicle. It appeared he had been shot through the back of the head. The victim was transported to Denver General Hospital where he was treated. The victim did communicate by hand written notes however, he declined to name the person who shot him or where. The mother of the victim as well as the girlfriend were interviewed. When communicating with his mother and his girlfriend the victim also refused to identify the suspect. The victim died as a result of a brain infection secondary to the gunshot wound. A suspect lead was developed. Detectives Stahl and Day interviewed numerous witnesses. The suspect had an alibi on the day of the shooting.
